This five-daisy complex lies in the Danube Delta, on the borders of Lake Violet (MORUGHIOL - in Turkish), not far from the ancient fortress of HALMYRIS, in Murighiol village, Tulcea County. A tourist s delight with strong local influences in architecture, built between 2000 and 2003, Morena caters for all tastes.

It s location at the core of the Danube Delta makes Morena Complex the ideal starting point for pleasure and research trips, bird watching, fishing and hunting. By boat or motor boat, access is granted to any spot of interest in the Delta in less that 1 1/2 hrs.: Merhei, Matita, Sulina, Dranov, Garla Imputita, Cuibul cu lebede, Trei Iezere, Rosu, Holbina, Razim, Sinoe and the beach of your dreams such as when God created the world.
The Danube Delta, "one of the last sanctuaries of nature" is often called the wild paradise. In an area with a surface of 4,200 sq. km, the presence of 3,400 species of the aquatic fauna has been recorded so far, amounting to 98 percent of the European species.
You are welcome, too. A visit to the Peasant's Museum of Enisala (Eni Sale - in Turkish, the New Village), the Ethnography Museum of Tulcea, and the Museum of Oriental Art of Babadag is a trip into the history of these ethnical groups.
